Maple cost $50.       Let the number of Maple planted be x 
Oak cost  $25.          Let the number of Oak planted be y     

Cost on the Maple would be = 50x
Cost on the Oak would be = 25y
Total cost for both trees = 50x + 25y

Since the planting budget is $800, that means the amount spent must not be greater than $800. It would not be wise to spend more than the budget.
It can be equal to the budget of $800

Therefore the linear equation would be:

 50x + 25y ≤ 800
