Spanish explorers brought tomato seeds to Europe in the early 1500s. At that time, most Europeans thought tomatoes were toxic and would not even taste them. However, they turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Italians were the first Europeans to use tomatoes as a key ingredient in their cooking.

Based on the context, what does "turned out to be a blessing in disguise" suggest about tomatoes?

I think the answer is “A” see that even though it wasn’t seen as a popular commodity before because it seems as though they could do anything with it, they feared that want ever they do to it might harm them. But,now since there was someone who did know what it was and knew how to cook with it, the others opinion about can change.
