Why are we all so cynical

Only doing things for us that seem beneficial

We're really just blind sighted, that's the initial

Even if we try to do something nice

We all know that kindness is artificial

Cause for some reason humans are selfish

That's the only thing we ever accomplish

So can we all just think about the others

Can we treat them like our sisters and brothers
