Instructions
For this project, use StatCrunch to find properly sourced data that is quantitative
and at the ratio level, then submit a document with the following:
1. Evidence of properly sourced data
2. A Copy of Data (be sure it is quantitative and measured at the ratio level)
3. A statement of the place value of the data. For example, "The data is
measured to the hundredths place".
4. Identify if your data is from a sample or census (you should be able to decide
from the context)
5. A wonderment question that is directly related to the data set selected.
6. A possible wonderment bias related to the wonderment question in step 5.
7. A graph, correctly labeled of course, which best displays the data and an
explanation as to why you chose this graph
8. A statement about the distribution of the data.
9. The five-number summary. Include the names and values of each of the five.
10. Identify any outliers or a statement that there are no outliers with evidence
(include appropriate box plot).
11. Identify the "best" measure of center with an explanation of your choice.
12. Identify the "best" measure of variation with an explanation of your choice.
13. The mean and standard deviation
14. Identify at what value data becomes "significantly high" (Show work)
15. Identify at what value data becomes "signincantly low" (Show work)
