A campground has cabins that can each hold 28 campers. There are 148 campers that are visiting the campground. How many cabins are full if there are 28 campers in each cabin? Please help i'm desperate and i'm marking most brainliest.

Answer :

I believe it would be 5 full cabins. 28 campers x 5 cabins would be 140 campers. It couldn't be 6 because 28 x 6 is 168. There would be 8 campers left that aren't in a full cabin.

Answer: 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A campground has cabins that can each hold 28 campers.

There are 148 campers that are visiting the campground.

To find : Number of cabins are full if there are 28 campers in each cabin.

By using the division operation, we have

Number of cabins are full if there are 28 campers in each cabin =

Total campers ÷ 28

[tex]=148\div28=\dfrac{148}{28}\\\\=5\dfrac{8}{28}[/tex]

Hence, there are 5 full cabins .
