There are many that believe the language written in this book is nonesense but in my opionion the author had a rhyme and reason (for lack of better words) to portray his story. It is essential to keep the reader interested.
There are a great deal of other scholars who believe that the language in Gulliver's Travels is based on Hebrew.  
The movie adaptaions vary greatly.
